Weekly Spelling Homework Assignments
**Each assignment is due the morning following the day given.**
Monday:
1. Choose six of the spelling words from the weekly list.
2. Write three sentences using two of the six words in each sentence.
3. Write one "telling" sentence, one "asking" sentence, and one "exclamatory" sentence using the words chosen.
4. Use at least one adjective in each sentence.
***This assignment will change as the year progresses.***
Tuesday:
1. Write spelling words #11-15 using "Pyramid Spelling." For example: For the word "friend" you would write:

Wednesday:
1. Write the Spelling Words #1-10 in ABC order.
Thursday:
1. Have your parent/guardian give you a "Spelling Pretest" using the weekly spelling words AND the dictation sentence.
2. Have your parent/guardian check your pretest for errors.
3. Write any word that you missed 3x each. If you missed the dictation sentence (including the capital and punctuation) you should write the entire sentence 3x each.
4. You must turn in your pretest and your "3x each practice."
5. Study for the Friday weekly test.
